REPORTS TO: Director, Marketing
The Web Designer is accountable for the creation and execution of web and digital graphics as part of an expanding suite of public-facing digital properties – website, digital emails via Salesforce Marketing Cloud, infographics and a variety of social, mobile and digital content. In addition to creative development, the Web Designer will be responsible for uploading and updating information to uw-mc.org, resulting in compelling visuals and content that creates a positive user experience. This is a hands-on role that requires strong expertise in both design and front-end technology.
United Way is planning to transform our current website (uw-mc.org) in 2017 and this role will help support the growth and stability of our digital presence. We are looking for a detail-oriented, flexible, self-directed designer who is excited to join a growing multi-channel digital marketing team. The right candidate will be fluent in modern web, responsive design, and user experience methods, and will have significant experience with web-based content management systems. In addition to working closely with the Director of Marketing, this role will also collaborate with the Senior Manager, Art Director, Communications team and external web developers.
