Under the supervision of the CPO, the Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for managing the implementation of the annual UW of DuPage direct mail plan which includes ordering campaign supplies, providing material content, composing solicitation letters, budgeting, preparing time-lines for staff and coordinating with mail house.  The incumbent in this role will also manage the Volunteer Outreach Committee and all activities related to volunteer engagement, acknowledgement, recruiting and training.  S/He will assist in all aspects of coordination between the office and the Board of Directors such as meetings, community events or special projects.  This position requires flexibility to work some non-traditional hours and some travel throughout the DuPage/West Cook County Area.

Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent of education and experience.  One to three years administrative or non-profit work experience in similar capacity.   S/He must posses a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with strong organizational and analytical skills.  S/He must have a proven ability to respond to and complete strict deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to  interact, professionally, with constituents from diverse professions and communities.  The candidate must also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, fully proficient and experienced in the latest version of Microsoft Office Environment (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).  Prior experience with Donor Perfect, Microsoft Access or ANDAR preferred, but not required (will train).
