Student Intern-Administrative Assistant
Position Purpose: Under the direction of Exec. Assistant and Board Secretary, the Student Intern will provide support and assistance to various departments on assignments
Principle Responsibilities:
- General Administrative duties and under guidance of Exec. Assist. Assist with preparation of expense forms, out of town travel forms, procurement card forms, etc.
- Assists with all aspects of preparation for meetings – materials, room set-up requirements, etc.
- Assists with files, recording of business cards and recording of President’s touch points with Board, Top 25, and Tocqueville donors.
Minimum Qualifications
- Pursing a degree in business or administration.
- Organized and ability to prioritize competing assignments within deadlines.
- Skilled in verbal and written communication.
- Good judgment and initiative.
- Discretion in working with highly confidential information.
- Fully proficient and experienced in latest Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Required hours are 22.5 per week.
Please note that this is a learning experience and the student intern is not replacing a regular staff position. Both United Way and the student understand that no wages will be given for the internship period. There is no promise of a job following this program.
